To say that I am devastated doesn’t even begin to cover it. I have a huge void in my heart, and I am really hurting. My eyes are red and swollen, and I don’t feel like I will ever stop crying. I feel broken.
My girl gave me so much love over the past 5 years, and for that I am forever grateful. She got me through some really rotten times, and she really was my best friend.
My dear Lexi/Catdog/Rat-like/Rattus/Stinky/Baby, I love you, and I miss you. You will forever hold a piece of my heart.

Another tragic boating accident on Sydney Harbour in just over year has left the world reeling. Six are dead, and among them, one of my old Psych classmates from Uni, originally from the United States. I can’t profess to knowing her particularly well – but our classes were small, and everybody knew everybody.
The small Darwin community will no doubt be in a state of shock for the next few days.
I still can’t believe it.
