… for the arrival of Molly’s new Burberry collar!

When we first picked her up at ten weeks, she weighed just shy of a kilo – a whole 900g – and the collar swam on her. Now, a year later, my pumba tips the scales at 6.1kg – and I’ve had to order a size or two up.

You know things are sad when you’re looking forward to the arrival of a (rather expensive) dog collar. If it makes it any better, I’m also waiting on a shipment of DVDs from Amazon.com, and the delivery of a new Tupperware Rice Cooker. No? Didn’t think so ..

Wine. I’m embracing my inner alcoholic.

Pumpkin Soup – always comforting!

Another pair of heels, and more stationery from Kikki K. I have a problem, I know.

What are you listening to right now?
Julie crying on Masterchef. I’m over the drama.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Only an hour? In that case, into town for a wine.

Which language do you want to learn?
Spanish .. Greek .. American .. what?

What do you love most about where you currently live?
Are you kidding? I hate Darwin. But it’s a means to an end. I guess if I had to name one thing – I like my job?

What is your favourite colour?
I don’t discriminate.

What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe?
My Alex Perry wedding gown is right up there .. in terms of my favourite functional piece of clothing? Do my shoes count? I love my Jimmy Choo’s.

Describe your personal style?
3 parts Charlotte York, 1 part Carrie Bradshaw.

If you had $300 now, what would you spend it on?
Shoes. Stationery. A one-way plane ticket to Sydney.

What are you going to do after this?
Wash my hair. Riveting, no? I bet you’re glad you asked …

What are your favourite films?
The Way We Were .. Sixteen Candles .. When a Man Loves a Woman .. Empire Records .. Anything with Julia Roberts ..

Your favourite smell?
Fresh coffee in the morning. Rain on hot bitumen or just mowed grass. The beach.

Shoes.

What makes you follow a blog?
Content .. How attractive the blogger is .. .. I kid, I kid!

Do you like to comment on blogs or just lurk?
It depends on the post, and if I feel I have anything to contribute.

What’s one thing you dream of doing?
Writing. Making a living out of it.

What is your biggest regret?
Not buying an apartment years ago when we had the chance – and before the Darwin market boomed.

What is your favourite thing to do on a rainy day?
Curling up in bed with a good book, or a feel-good DVD.

Do you have a tattoo?
No. I have virgin skin – and I have no intention of changing that.

Are you left handed, right handed, ambidextrous, or a little of both?
Are ambidextrous and a little of both not the same thing?? I’m right-handed.

What is the single most defining moment of your life thus far?
I don’t think I have one.
