- 21. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge

I know the post is a few months late, but just noting another 25 by 25 goal was completed. I still can’t believe we were in New York, for the second time, in May!
This is how far behind in my posts I am .. Telle {one of my favourite bloggers} posted this a month ago.
Head on over to Fat Mum Slim to see my Everyday Everybody interview with Chantelle!
… for the arrival of Molly’s new Burberry collar!
When we first picked her up at ten weeks, she weighed just shy of a kilo – a whole 900g – and the collar swam on her. Now, a year later, my pumba tips the scales at 6.1kg – and I’ve had to order a size or two up.
You know things are sad when you’re looking forward to the arrival of a (rather expensive) dog collar. If it makes it any better, I’m also waiting on a shipment of DVDs from Amazon.com, and the delivery of a new Tupperware Rice Cooker. No? Didn’t think so ..

Last month, the lovely Dana at Between Two Worlds kindly tagged me for a Lovely Blog Award. Such a sweet gesture – thank you, Dana!
The One Lovely Blog Award rules are: Accepting the award you have to post it on your blog, together with the name of the person who has granted it and his/her link. Then pass the award to other 15 blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the boggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.
In no particular order, I nominate:
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.
I’m working on clearing out my Drafts folder, and catching up on old posts, that should have been long published. Stepford Dreams tagged me back in May. MAY! For the Premio Dardos Award.
The rules of the Premio Dardos Award are as follows:
According to the link that Mrs Stepforddreams found here, this is what the Dardos is all about:
The Dart Awards Ceremony I 2008 appears among a large list of prestigious awards in the world of literature, and recognizes the values that each blogger shows each day in their efforts to convey cultural ethical, literary, personal, etc. values… in short, it demonstrates his creativity through his vibrant thoughts, which remain innate within the letters, torn between his words.
Now, I’m not sure I would go that far, but interesting enough, no?
As to blogs that I would recommend?
… for a trip to my hairdresser tomorrow – I’m hanging out for a head massage while they wash my hair.
… for Ladies Day with a friend .. Frocks, fillies & fun *grin*
